One of the world’s most famous soccer players, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, has launched online gambling and sports betting platform called Bruxo10.bet. The iGaming platform’s name is inspired by Ronaldinho’s nickname during his football career – “El Brujo”. The gambling site, however, belongs to Digital Ventures N.V., a company registered in Curacao, and is expected to enter the Brazilian market once the government regulates the sector.
The gambling site is already up and running and accepts bets on a wide range of sports and leagues. Besides, it treats casino fans to games from acclaimed software providers, including but not limited to Pragmatic Play, Caleta, Play’n GO, and Vibra Gaming. Aviator, Spaceman, and Penalty Shoot-Out are some of the most well-liked games offered on Ronaldinho’s platform.
To commemorate the launch of his iGaming platform, Ronaldinho held a special event with sporting activities. The former soccer player did not miss the opportunity to promote the “With10 Footvolley Challenge”, which marked the debut of the sportsbook.
During the event, it was also noted that Ronaldinho’s iGaming platform strongly advocates responsible gambling. The gambling site features various responsible gambling tools, with personal limits and reality checks being among them. Moreover, players who experience an uncontrollable urge to gamble can exclude themselves from the platform in a hassle-free manner.
But this is not the first time the 43-year-old retired soccer player has been involved in the gambling industry. For the past few years, the footballer has been an ambassador for Betcris.
The New iGaming Platform Has Everything Needed to Cater to the Needs of Brazilian Players
As mentioned earlier, the owners of the iGaming platform eye the opportunity to enter the Brazilian market. Hence why, the gambling site accepts payments via some country-specific banking solutions such as Pix. Furthermore, players can load the gambling site in Portuguese.
Ronaldinho’s online gambling platform operates under a license issued by the Government of Curaçao. Although this is not the most reputable license a casino or sportsbook may have, Curaçao will implement tighter gambling licensing regulations as of September 1.
Last week, Minister of Finance Javier Silvania stated that the country is to hold Curaçao-licensed operators to international standards. He added that the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK) was pending parliament approval. Silvania explained that operators would be required to comply with international anti-money laundering requirements.
However, little is known about Digital Ventures N.V. – the company that owns the gambling site. On the company’s profile on LinkedIn, we found that it promotes another crypto-friendly gambling site, namely Bitcarra.com. There is no information that Digital Ventures N.V. owns other gambling sites.
